Welcome to the local village chaya kada, where the tea is poured from impressive heights, political debates are always free of charge and ten rupees gets you front-row seats to all the neighborhood news. Under a tiled red roof nestled among coconut palms, locals gather to sip hot brew, debate election posters and master the art of the unhurried morning.
Naturally, the whiskered residents run this establishment. A grey tabby keeps watch from the rooftop tiles, a tiny black cat perches right next to the bicycle milk can and a sweet ginger cat sprawls out in the dirt for a midday belly-up sunbath.
Piecing together this vibrant, nostalgic slice of tropical life is your official permission slip to pawse, log off, and claim a delightful single-sitting win.
